After spending years in the world of skateboarding, Travis Graves decided to dedicate his time and energy toward his other true passion...music. Through mutual friend Jason Dill, Graves was introduced to the owners of Record Collection (The Walkmen, Har Mar Superstar, Eisley) who fell instantly in love with the raw talent and purity of Mt. Egypt.

Drawing influence from artists like Neil Young, Will Oldham and Brian Eno, Mt. Egypt is a reflection of living and loving in a world that can slip from serenity to insanity in an instant.
